First Android netbook to cost about $250

New Android devices news are pouring in. Earlier, Samsung announced its first Android handset, now Guangzhou Skytone Transmission Technologies Co has annouced availability of first netbook Alpha 680 to run Android mobile operating systems within three months.
According to the article in Computerworld , Alpha 680 uses an ARM11 CPU running at 533 MHz, which is also used in Iphone and Iphone Touch devices. The Alpha 680 will have a 7-in. LCD screen at 800 by 480 pixels, 128MB of DDR2 RAM (expandable to 256 MB) and a 1GB solid-state disk (SSD) drive (expandable to 4 GB, though users can also add storage through the SD card or two USB ports). It will also have built-in Wi-Fi, keyboard and touch pad.

The device is is currently in testing, and final prototypes will be ready by June.

Developer’s Dilemma: Android vs Iphone

What should a developer thinking of venturing into mobile development go for? Android or Iphone? Both are interesting choice of platforms and decision i think would depend on the individual. I have been thinking of venturing into mobile development for past couple of months(infact since mid last year). Since i got busy with my day job  last year, i could spend time about choice of platform. Now i have little breathing time, so i would like to make a choice of platform. Below is my version of comparison between Android and Iphone. Please note these are my views and not everyone will agree to it.
